KESHET Keshet, founded to serve Jewish individuals with disabilities, is an organization with the philosophy that every child should be able to participate as fully as possible in the mainstream of Jewish life, regardless of the individual's special needs. It is Keshet's mission to serve disabled individuals from birth through their adulthood with Jewish and Secular education, recreation, and vocational guidance. Keshet programs have met with tremendous success, validating the needs of the Jewish disabled community. These programs include the Ariella Joy Frankel Keshet Day School, Keshet Sunday School, Keshet High School and Vocational Services, Keshet Transition Program, Keshet Adult Services, Keshet Recreational program, Keshet Summer Day and Overnight Camps, Parent and Community Education and Advocacy and Information and Referral Services. Just as the rainbow presents a full and radiant spectrum of color, Keshet - Hebrew for rainbow - presents the opportunity for a special group of individuals to enjoy a full and radiant spectrum of life's experiences. |
